Really tasty and nice place to go. Definitely worth a visit.

Beware of beerWhen you order a beer , it costs 550 ¥ plus 200 ¥ from an appetizer you don't order, but you are served anyway. The nice point is that you are able to see cooks while preparing sushi with fish almost alive.

If you need a comfortable atmosphere for meal ,to take the course outside the tsukiji fish market is the good idea. And you can find something else to eat in the market area after that. The quality is fresh same condition as in the market.

A restaurant chain in Tsukiji fish market Tokyo, well known for his owner's record buying super expensive fish! The sushi is fresh, delicious and has so many varieties. Price is very reasonable, service is nice and fast. However the place is relatively small, and there could be a long queue during lunch hour, I would love to come back again. My favorite is the sushi with thick slice of fatty tuna, the best!

24-hour restaurant that offers fresh sashimi! Fatty tuna never disappoint me. And the crab paste sushi was delicious! Dons are at a good price too and not cheap on the sashimi. So if you stay in this area and don’t know what to eat for lunch or dinner or late night snacks, come here and point anything you want to eat or just pick up one of the discounted boxes in the fridge outside. This place won’t fail you.

The sushi was as fresh as it gets. Very nice, simple place. Frequented by locals. The staff is friendly, service is fast, and the food is delicious! They have a couple of English menus.

Zenmai sushi has several restaurant accross tsukiji market. As log as i see there's 3 shop. And the one nearest the main road has the longest queue. I would suggest to go circling the market for other option of zenmai sushi. Note i got my seat at the second floor the waitress a little got overwhelm so just orderri g hot water took lot's of time.Price range for set there's 3000 2000 and 1200 yen. Per pieces vary from 100 through 400 or 500 per peices

The best sushi I've ever had

One of the few 24hours restaurant in the vicinity, i had some late night sushi there.The price is not expensive, a tuna toro set is on promotion which has one o-toro, one chu-toro, one tuna and one semi-cooked tuna sushi and one negi-tuna at 1100 yen.But the negi-tuna is not very fresh so i do not dare to order more as i had to catch a plane tomorrow and do not want to risk diarrhoea. But perhaps i worry too much, 12 hours past and i still feel fine.

I had a good time here. The line up was totally worth it.

Value for money

This chain is everywhere. Many are opened 24 hours. The owner seems to always win the highest price tuna at the auction each year.I had the urge early at 5am, came here for their kaisendonburi 1500Â¥ before tax. They are just outside the boundary of Tsukiji outer market, but don't matter, same quality and price.Which is to say middle of the pack. Not THE BEST quality but then you are not paying super premium price either.For my purpose it's pretty darn good. For less than US$15 for a good size bowl, I will never find that in the States for freshness, varieties and price. Obviously eating sushi/sashimi in Japan is a must unless you don't eat that type of food.

The food looked and tasted so good, I even forgot to take a picture until the third piece. So much food and so cheap, my stomach and wallet was very happy. I was there around 2PM on a Thursday and it was relativly filled up with people but the atmosphere was still tranquil. The waiter spoke English and the service was quick and professional.

This place is right in the Tsukiji market. I got inside after standing in along queue but it was worth it. We waited quite a bit even once seated. My husband and I got a platter with four different sushi and rolls. It was about $30. The staff was sweet and got us extra wasabi and ginger on the side. Fish was fresh. Place was calm. Staff friendly. I recommend!

The price to quality ratio is superb. Found this place by simply walking around the area, and it did not disappoint. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Fish tasted of high quality. Would recommend coming here.

A much quieter eatery compared to those at Tsukiji market. It's the same menu but therein lies the difference. At the end of the day.. your palate will tell which is the best

Excellent, what else? Very close to the former fish market in Tsukiji. It is a chain, but each individual store is run independently. In the traditional way, you have to take off your shoes and you shall eat the nigiri with your hands! Try the otoro, fat tuna: it’s worth it.

Fantastic! I am big sushi lover and this was so far the most fresh and delicious sushi I have ever had. We came with my wife and baby in a huge strolley.Even the place was crowded and is pretty tight inside they made a space for us to enjoy. Prices are OK and the staff is very friendly and speaks basic english. Highly reccomended!

Only because there was nowhere else to eat and zanmai is open 24 hours that I stepped inside. The sushi is affordable but quality not so great. The aji was swimming in the fish tank so the sashimi was super fresh.

Excellent sushi restaurant though seating capacity is limited. My first meal after arriving in Tokyo. Sashimi is really fresh in a reasonable price. Arrive early to avoid the crowd else you might need to queue to get seats.

It’s a chain but it’s great! Great value really fresh sushi that tastes delicious. We left the place super full and enjoyed everything we ordered!

Nice sushi restaurant with various choices of cuisines, eg. Noodles, western foods, western desserts.

A bit pricier than I anticipated but centrally located at Tsukiji market and excellent quality. Maybe it goes without saying but beware don't order live mackerel if you don't want to see your dinner slowly dying in front of you for 20 minutes.

The staff was very friendly, and spoke English. The sushi was really good, specially the tuna plate, which had the best fatty tuna I have ever had.The price was also okay for the amount and quality of sushi offered. It's a very good place for mid range sushi.

The service is great and quality of the food here is sensational. The large tuna plate with 2 nigiri each of the three different fat levels, 2 negitoro and 2 aburi nigiri was exceptional. Will be coming here again next Japan trip.

Really, really good food and a really good time

Wonderful service and extremely helpful staff. Sushi was top quality and serviced with speed and skill. A sake was offered to us free of charge for New year's I believe. Will be back.

Stopped by here for a quick dinner. Sushi is fresh but somehow missed the mark. This place seems to be recommended by quite a few people but it's average. Prices are ok, service is friendly and they have English menus if you need one.
